Museum Insider Tour |
As insiders, students will explore the roles of museums and museum professionals within their community. For younger students we discuss the types of things you can find at your local museum. For older students, we will take a closer look at items in the museum’s collection related to themes in Canadian history from 1850 to 1914. |
19th Century Life |
Learn what life was like in southern Ontario in the 1800s. Museum objects, historic buildings, and primary source documents will be used to explore transportation, immigration, home, work, food, and school during this time period. Together we will make comparisons between then and now. |
