Vintage films highlight Archives Awareness Week activities
Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Archives will be hosting its second-ever Vintage Films night at the Sarnia Library Theatre early next month.
The footage, from the Archives' collection, will be screened from 7 - 8 p.m., Tuesday April 10. Admission to Vintage Films night is free and caps off the celebration of Archives Awareness Week, April 3-7, 2018.
"This is a tremendous opportunity to screen local, historical footage that is not often viewed publicly," says Archivist Dana Thorne. "During Archives Awareness Week, we invite researchers of all stages, from interested to novice to advanced, to visit Lambton County Archives and explore our vast collection of genealogical and local historical records."
During Archives Awareness Week, residents will also have the opportunity to win a one year free membership to Lambton County Archives. To be eligible for the draw, residents should either visit Lambton County Archives in Wyoming from April 3 - 7 or like or share a post on its Facebook page.

Thursday, April 5 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Ms. Morgan will discuss her new book Ottissippi - The Truth about Great Lakes
