PA Day event at Lambton Heritage Museum: Visit Canada's Waterscapes

Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum is inviting local students and their families to discover the Canada's Waterscapes: Yours to Enjoy, Explore, and Protect exhibit on the upcoming PA Day, Friday, September 27.

The interactive and engaging exhibit closes on September 30, so this PA Day is one of the final opportunities to experience it!

You’ll be able to discover what it takes to understand and take care of Canada’s aquatic ecosystems and become inspired to take action to protect them. Join the Lambton Heritage Museum to explore your aquatic side in this engaging, family-friendly, interactive exhibition.

Canada’s Waterscapes is a travelling exhibit from the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. It is produced by the Canadian Museum of Nature in collaboration with the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council.

The exhibit is open during regular museum hours, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Friday, September 27. Regular museum admission rates apply. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors and students, and $3.00 for children. Children four and under are free.

Lambton Heritage Museum is entrusted with the care of over 25,000 historic artifacts, photographs and documents which preserve the history of Lambton County. Situated on a 30 acre parcel across from Pinery Provincial Park, the museum maintains five historic buildings, two display buildings and one main exhibition centre, as well as visitor amenities including the 1 km Woodland Heritage Trail. Throughout its 40 year history, Lambton Heritage Museum has evolved from a collection of collections, to a key repository, safeguard and educator of Lambton’s material heritage.
