Sarnia Chorus
This is an image of the Sarnia Chorus, possibly dated ca. 1927-1930.
Although this image is undated, a program for a concert given on Tuesday, March 13th, 1928, lists many of the same names as the individuals in this photograph. On that occasion J.H. Cameron of Toronto was the guest entertainer, and the instrumental trio was Mrs. Stirrett, violin; Mrs. Mills, piano; and Mr. Howard Thomas of Port Huron, cello.
The concert, given at the City Hall, included a prize glee written for Queen Victoria's Jubilee, 'Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 6', 'The Spell of the Yukon', 'March of the Men of Harlech,' and 'What the Chimney Sang'.
