This week's historic recipe is Maple Syrup Tarts, from the “Egremont Road Heritage Days Cookbook”. It originally appeared in Aberarder Women’s Institute Cook Book, 1949. The Aberarder Women’s Institute formed in 1910 and disbanded in 2016.
Mildred Jean Watson was born on October 9, 1907. She was the daughter of Daniel and Ivy Rena (Cairns) Watson of Lot 14 Con 11 Plympton Twp.
